Construction worker arrested for robbery, illegal drugs in Pasay City

A construction worker wanted for robbery and illegal drugs was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Feb. 20.

Pasay City Police chief Col. Samuel Pabonita identified the suspect as alias “Jayson,” 36, ranked as Top 8 most wanted person under station level. He was arrested at around 12:20 p.m. in Barangay 95, Pasay City.

Pabonita said Jayson was arrested for robbery by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Bonifacio Pascua of the Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 113 for service of sentence.

Another warrant of arrest was also served to Jayson issued by Judge Divina Gracia Lopez Peliño of Pasay RTC Branch 231 for violation of Section 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The suspect was detained at the Pasay City Police custodial facility.
