Belgica: Ilonggos better represented by more than 1 party-list

ILOILO CITY – Bisaya Gyud first nominee Greco Belgica said Ilonggos are better off being represented by more than just one party-list.

“Baka dalawa na gusto niyo dalawa na inyo party-list (You might want to have two party-lists),” said Belgica, former Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission chairman.

Belgica does not see Uswag Ilonggo party-list as a competitor.

“Kon natutuwa po kayo sa serbisyo ng Uswag Ilonggo, do-doblehon natin ‘yung mga party-list para sa inyo (If you are happy with the services of Uswag Ilonggo, let’s double the party-list for you),” added Belgica.

Belgica said that Bisaya Gyud is campaigning on the platform of fighting drugs, corruption, and crime, especially for Visayans.

He said that he has Ilonggo roots. He and his father were born in Manila but his grandfather was from Barotac Nuevo town, Iloilo province.

While he is a loyal supporter of former President Rodrigo Duterte, Belgica said he does not have any problem with Iloilo or its officials.

Belgica said he has nothing to do with how Duterte attacked former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog and described Iloilo City as “shabulized.”
