MARAWI CITY – The Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region headed by Police Brig. Gen. Romeo Macapaz received 41 brand-new police vehicles in Marawi City on Thursday, Feb. 20, from Budget Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman.
Pangandaman said these new patrol vehicles would help increase police visibility, reduce crime rates, and enhance response capabilities during emergencies in the province.

Macapaz thanked Pangandaman for these vehicles that would improve their operational capacity.
"We are privilege to receive these 41 additional personnel carrier vehicles, 40 of which are here at Lanao del Sur. This is significant boost to our mobility and operational readiness. These assets align with our capacity-building initiatives, ensuring the PRO-BAR remains agile, responsive, and fully equipped to meet the evolving challenges of law enforcement in our region," said Macapaz.
Police Capt. Esnairah Lucman, Bacolod Kalawi chief of police, also thanked Pangandaman for their new vehicle that would improve their mobility during the elections.
Also in attendance during the turnover were Police Major Gen. Niel B. Alinsañgan, head of the Philippine National Police Directorate for Comptrollership; Police Brig. Gen. Neri Vincent Ignacio, the PNP director for Logistics, and local chief executives led by Marawi Mayor Majul U. Gandamra.
