PARA's new leadership team ready to advance appraising profession

The Philippine Association of Realty Appraisers (PARA), comprising 939 PRC-licensed property appraisers from 49 provinces across the Philippines, recently inducted its 2025 board of directors.

The elected officers are: Marissa Y. Benitez (Chairperson of the Board), Herbert Y. Yao (President), Jessie B. Doctolero (Executive Vice President), Lorenzo D. Ballete II (Vice President, Internal), Charlie Gaw (Vice President, External), Mary Daphne G. Bereciarte (Secretary General), Don Rommel D. Dais (Treasurer), Cesar E. Santos (Auditor), and Federico C. Cuervo (Public Relations Officer).

The Board Advisers are Arch. Marie Yvonne T. Apad, Atty. Rhodora L. Dapula, and Emeritus F. Gonzalez. The induction ceremony, held on February 15, 2025, at the Makati Commerce Tower, was administered by Hon. Rafael M. Fajardo, Board Member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Services.

This board is dedicated to furthering the professionalism of Philippine-licensed property appraisers. Vice President, Internal Lorenzo D. Ballete II expressed the board's ethos, stating, “We are not a team because we work together. We are a team because we respect, trust, and care for each other.”
