Operatives of the Parañaque City Police Station arrested two fugitive brothers for multiple sexual offenses and child protection violations during a manhunt on Wednesday, Feb. 19.
The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as “Christian,” 32, ranked as the station's second most wanted person, and his brother, “Vincent,” 28, ranked as top four. Both are construction workers.
They were arrested by virtue of a warrant issued on Feb. 6 by Parañaque City Family Court, Branch 10, in San Martin de Porres.
Authorities said Christian faces charges of statutory rape, rape, and three counts of violating Section 5(B) of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act).
His brother is also accused of three counts of rape under Republic Act 11648 and a violation of Section 5(B) of RA 7610.
The court recommended no bail for the rape charges and set P200,000 bail for the RA 7610 violations.
The suspects are detained at the Parañaque City Police Custodial Facility while awaiting the return of their warrants to the issuing court.
