PDEA nabs drug den maintainer, 10 others in Sulu buy-bust

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)  arrested an alleged drug den maintainer and 10 other drug suspects during a buy-bust operation in Indanan, Sulu.

In a statement, the PDEA Sulu Provincial Office noted that its agents immediately dismantled the drug den right after the suspects with aliases Alin (drug den maintainer), Son, Ben, Alex, Sam, Al, Moh, Fai, Dar, Al, and Lyka were collared in Barangay Kagay.

During the Feb. 17 search, the PDEA operatives seized four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000, three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets with about five grams of dried marijuana leaves, various drug paraphernalia, buy-bust money, and a mobile phone.

The suspects are detained at the Indanan Municipal Police Station and facing charges of violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165.
