Jasmine Paguio, the aspiring Miss Universe Philippines 2025 representative from Manila, revealed that she made the bold decision to leave her life in Canada behind in pursuit of her dreams.
With a heart full of ambition and a vision to become the next Miss Universe Philippines, she is wholeheartedly dedicated to embracing the vibrant culture and opportunities that the Philippines offers.
Her journey is fueled by a desire to not only compete on the prestigious stage but also to inspire others through her experiences and passion for her roots.
At a media conference held at Diamond Hotel, Jasmine announced her intention to pursue acting abroad but decided to postpone it in order to focus on pageantry.
"I'm taking a pause in acting right now, but given the opportunity, I would love to pursue that role," the beauty queen said.
Jasmine, 26, is filled with confidence and determination, convinced that she has the qualities to earn the title of Miss Universe Philippines.

She said: "I know that God put this desire in my heart, and I am capable of being the next Miss Universe Philippines.
"Throughout my life, being a candidate of Miss Universe Philippines in itself is already a dream. I never thought I would have this opportunity to be standing on this stage and wearing this sash.
"Some may call me ambitious or too ambitious because I left my family in Canada to take the risk here in the Philippines to pursue my dream.
"I want to inspire, uplift, and encourage those who are afraid of choosing their dreams because they think they might fail.
"There's a quote I love repeating to myself every day, and it goes like this: "To shoot for the moon and if you fall, at least you fall beyond the stars.
"That is a message I want to encourage out there to continue chasing your dreams because you never know where you might fall. So that is why I should be the next Miss Universe Philippines," Jasmine ended.
