GSIS strengthens partnership with PARE on its 10th anniversary

Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) President and General Manager Wick Veloso (rightmost) led the oath-taking of the new officers of the Philippine Alliance of Retired Educators (PARE) officers during its 10th anniversary celebration on Feb. 17 at the GSIS Gym.

Among those who took their oath of office were incoming PARE President Jesus Lorenzo Mateo (second from right) and GSIS Trustee Beatriz Torno (4th from left) who was elected VP for Higher Education.

This milestone further strengthens the partnership between GSIS and PARE in empowering retired educators and promoting financial literacy. A key initiative under this collaboration is the GSIS-PARE Speakers’ Bureau, which will enable retired teachers to share their knowledge, combat misinformation, and continue their mission of educating others.

With 250,000 retired teachers under its wing, PARE remains a strong advocate for educators, ensuring that their legacy of service lives on.
