Cedrick Juan announces engagement to Kate Alejandrino

Wedding bells are soon to ring for Cedric Juan and Kate Alejandrino!

The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023 Best Actor revealed the news on Instagram by uploading photos of him and Kate embracing each other, accompanied by a poetic caption expressing his love and commitment to her.

"Isang pangarap. Pangarap na nagsimula sa pagpapanumbalik ng iyong tunay na ngiti na naguugat sa kaluluwa, isip, puso at mga mata. Ito ang layunin ko simula noong unang araw na tayo’y nagsimula,” Cedric wrote in his caption.

Cedric also declared his commitment to making Kate happy and promised to love and serve her for the rest of his life.

"Trabaho ko ang mahalin, pagsilbihan, makinig at pasayahin ka dahil nararapat ito para sa'yo. Ang maging sigurado at tiyak sa bawat hakbang araw-araw na magkasama. Tara mangarap tayo bawat sandali simula sa araw na ito. Mahal, Mahal na mahal kita at pipiliin ka araw-araw Kaitin," Cedric ending his post.

The comment section was filled with congratulatory messages from friends and celebrities like KaladKaren and Dolly de Leon.

Cedric and Kate went Instagram official early this year, with Cedric mentioning Kate's name on a post.

Cedric rose to mainstream recognition after portraying the role of Padre Jose Burgos in the film “GomBurZa."

Meanwhile, Kate is most recognized for her roles in "Dormitoryo: Mga walang katapusang kwarto," "Ten Little Mistresses," and "Lavender Fields."
