The Japan Foundation, Manila (JFM) proudly presents a rare opportunity to witness the elegance and artistry of Japan’s renowned Maiko and Geiko from Gion Higashi, Kyoto. They will perform classical Japanese dances and share insights into their centuries-old traditions. This once-in-a-blue-moon event is part of Nihongo Fiesta 2025, JFM’s annual celebration of the Japanese language and culture, scheduled for Feb. 22 to 23. Admission to the Maiko and Geiko performance is free.
