Sharon Cuneta and Janice De Belen reflected on their unique parenting styles and the deep emotional connections they share with their children.

Janice combines discipline with warmth in her approach to motherhood. She shares how she helps her kids think for themselves while giving them strong support.

Sharon expressed her deep affection for her children, describing how they fill her life with joy and purpose. 

"Patient, understanding, and loving my kids very much. I'm crazy about them. I'm blessed with the best kids," said Sharon when asked about the kind of mother she is during a media conference for thr series, "Saving Grace," which will be shown on free television beginning March 3.

The megastar added: "I appreciate honesty (among my kids). I don't like lying. That's the one thing I cannot stand. But I don't demand what I cannot give. You respect me, and I appreciate you with me, but don't play games with me."

Janice affectionately refers to herself as a wildly enthusiastic mother, fully embracing the chaos and unpredictability that comes with raising her children. 

Responding to the same question, Janice answered: "I think I'm a crazy mother. Seryoso! Kasi kapag mother ka, lahat ng klaseng emotions mararamdaman mo. Para ka ring artista na nagse-sermon. Yung sermon mo, masaya ka, galit ka, nagmamaka-awa ka. (I think I'm a crazy mother. Seriously! Because when you're a mother, you feel all kinds of emotions. You're like an artist giving a sermon. During your sermon, you're happy, you're angry, you're pleading.)

"But my children now, when we talk about it, nagtatawanan na lang kami. Pinagtatawanan nila ako. But I admit, I'm a crazy mother. It's all about emotions kasi. And because I'm a single parent, I don't have the time. (But my children now laugh when we talk about it. They make fun of me. But I admit, I'm a crazy mother. It's all about emotions. And because I'm a single parent, I don't have the time.)

"So when we need to talk about it, whether about boys, sex or other things, huwag na tayo malokohan. Wala akong time. So sinasabi ko sa kanila ng diretso. Kapag hindi mo dinerecho, hindi kayo magkakaintindihan. Better sabihin mo na lang. So shock sila. Gaganun sila. (When we need to talk about important topics like boys, sex, or anything else, let's get straight to the point. I don’t have time for beating around the bush, so I prefer to be direct. If you don’t approach these subjects honestly, you won’t truly understand them. It’s better to be upfront, even if it shocks them. That’s the reality)," said Janice.

Apart from the superb performances of its seasoned actors, one of the show’s lead cast members, Zia Grace, also stood out among viewers and was dubbed as the Philippines’ next big child star for her exceptional portrayal of an abused child longing for a mother’s unconditional love.

“Saving Grace: The Untold Story" delves into the lives of four different mothers, played by Jennica Garcia, Janice De Belen, Julia, and Sharon, and the emotional struggles they encounter when secrets from their past unravel. Viewers will also get to know more about the compelling journey of Anna (Julia), a teacher who kidnaps her student named Grace (Zia) when she learns about the latter’s sufferings from her abusive mother.

Directed by FM Reyes and Dolly Dulu and produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, the series also stars Sam Milby, Christian Bables, Elisse Joson, and Eric Fructuoso. “Saving Grace: The Untold Story” also marks the primetime TV comeback of Julia, Sharon, and Sam.
