San Juan City Police bags top spot in PNP performance evaluation
The San Juan City Police, led by Col. Deodennis Joy Marmol, was lauded by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora for being the top-ranking police unit in the PNP's Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) for January 2025.
According to the PNP, the San Juan City Police received a rating of 86.394 (Very Satisfactory) in the evaluation.
The UPER is a guide in assessing the performance of the different PNP offices and units nationwide.
"The UPER is being used in the force ranking of different PNP units/offices during the Annual Selection of Unit Awardees in the celebration of Police Service Anniversary and in the granting of the annual Performance Based-Bonus (PBB). It also serves as a basis for the retention or relief of unit commanders," the PNP said.
Meanwhile, Zamora said his administration continues to strengthen the city police's capabilities to ensure peace and order in the city as well as the safety of San Juaneños.
These initiatives include the deployment of more advanced police vehicles, installation of CCTV throughout the city, and the construction of modern offices for the police force.
