BUTUAN CITY – Police arrested 79 wanted persons in the Davao region from Feb. 10 to 16.

Police Regional Office-11 Director Police Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Z. Rosete said 78 warrants of arrest were served and 79 individuals were nabbed. Rosete said 27 were most wanted persons and 39 were other wanted persons.
He cited operating units for tracking and capturing these fugitives.
“The swift and decisive action of our personnel underscores our commitment to upholding the law and ensuring that criminals are brought to justice,” Rosete said. “We will continue to exert all efforts in pursuit of wanted persons to maintain peace and order in the region.”
The PRO-11 assured the public that intensified operations will persist as part of its commitment to national police chief Police Gen. Rommel Francisco D. Marbil’s directive of strengthening law enforcement initiatives to uphold peace and security across the nation.
The public was encouraged to report any information that may assist in the arrest of fugitives to the nearest police station or through the PRO-11 hotline.
