Newly minted head coach Macky Cariño is up for a big task as he takes the helm from the late legendary coach Sammy Acaylar who passed away last month.
Cariño will parade his lineup of the post-Louie Ramirez era who has completed his four playing years for the Las Piñas City-based squad.
It will be bannered by team captain KC Andrade, Jefferson Marapoc, Kirth Patrick Rosos, setter Klint Mateo, Kobe Tabuga, John Castil, Dexter Arrozado, John Lituania, James Pascua and Henzron Manaloto
The skills of rookies Kyle Gelogo, Renz Engay, Steff Rosete, Karl Jestre and liberos Annrey Galila and Magrey Abrencillo will also be tested.
The Altas Spikers will face the San Beda Red Spikers in their opening game on Feb. 22 at the SSCR Gym at 9 a.m.
"We will try our best to continue the winning tradition of Coach Sammy and we also dedicate each of our games to him." Coach Macky Cariño said in an interview.
