CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija – Police nabbed seven wanted persons in this province from Feb. 16 to 17.

Among them was the No. 1 most wanted person in Central Luzon for murder.
Germino said the suspect, a 20-year-old man, was nabbed in Barangay Nagpandayan, Guimba.
Others apprehended were a 20-year-old man charged with rape; a 19-year-old man for murder; a 43-year-old man wanted for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, a 31-year-old man for carnapping; a 26-year-old male accused of rape, and a 44-year-old wanted for drugs.
"We remain focused on apprehending wanted individuals in Nueva Ecija and call on the public to support our efforts in ensuring that those with pending cases face justice," said Germino.
The suspects are under police custody for proper disposition.
Meanwhile, police arrested a suspected drug pusher and seized P2-million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 3, San Ildefonso, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte on Feb. 18.
The suspect considered as a high-value individual in the illegal drugs trade faces charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“This arrest is a significant step in our relentless campaign against illegal drugs. We are sending a clear message that the PRO-1 will not allow illicit activities to thrive, particularly during this crucial time when we are working to ensure a peaceful and orderly election,” Police Regional Office-1 chief Police Brig. Gen. Lou Evangelista said.
