Two hurt in three-truck road scramble in Pasig

Two individuals were injured in a three-vehicle road crash on C-5 corner Lanuza Avenue in Barangay Ugong, Pasig City on Monday, Feb. 17.

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the incident occured at around 5:45 a.m. after one of the trucks lost its brakes and crashed onto the two other trucks infront of it.

The incident caused heavy traffic in the area, particularly along Ortigas Avenue going to Makati City.

Authorities successfully removed the three trucks at 8:15 a.m., thereby resulting in an improved flow of traffic in the area.

Meanwhile, the injured individuals were given first aid by the first responders and are now in stable condition.
