Irish rock band The Script once again visited the country to serenade Pinoy fans.
This, as part of their ongoing ''Satellite'' world tour.
Held at the Araneta Coliseum as presented by Willbros Live, the concert saw the band, as led by frontman Danny O'Donoghue, in fine form.
The performance started exactly at 8pm, with the band performing ''You Won't Feel A Thing'' from "Science & Faith."
The screams got louder when they performed fan-favorite "Superhero" as followed by "Rain."
Danny was more than just about delivering a superb performance. He would often go down the aisle to mingle with fans.
The Script also performed their new single, "Both Ways" at the concert.
They also revisited one of their classics, "6 Degrees of Separation."
Of course, as predicted, the crowd sang along with gusto.
With the overwhelming support displayed by all those present, Danny couldn't help but smile.
He then said, "What an amazing moment, thank you so much for being part of this, this is out of this world. We've been playing here many, many time, seven or eight times this is the loudest, the biggest, and the best one we had."
Eager to please their fans, the band performed another fan-favorite, "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" as followed by ''Last Time."
Before performing "You Can See Me Now," Danny once again gave a shoutout to fans, noting in particular those who aired support after the death of guitarist Mark Sheehan.
"We wanted to give thanks for all of your prayers, messages, everything that you sent us over the past two years. We lost our guitarist Mark Sheehan and for all of your prayers, we are forever grateful," Danny said.
"We went to a really dark time, the only reason that we're back up on stage again doing what we do, and doing what we love and that is to sing all the pain because of you guys, so thank you so much," he added.
Danny dedicated the song to Mark and mentioned how the guitarist loved going back to the Philippines because of the warm welcome of the audience.
"You Can See Me Now" was then followed by the songs "Inside Out," "Never Seen Anything," and "Before The Worst" where Danny and the rest of the band got off the stage to once again interact with fans.
Capping off the first set of the concert, The band performed, "Nothing", "No Good In Goodbye," "Paint The Town Green," and "First Time," with fans singing wildly.
"Oh, these times are hard. Yeah, they're making us crazy, don't give up on me, baby."
Following a quick break, the band played "Home Is Where the Hurt Is", "Breakeven" and "Hall Of Fame."
On the second day of the concert, Danny surprised fans outside Araneta by performing an acoustic version of the song "The Man Who Can't Be Moved."
