Senator Imee Marcos visits Bulacan, promotes 'Tara, Basa!' Tutoring Program

Bulakenyos warmly welcomed Senator Imee Marcos when she arrived at the province to attend the TARAbasa Orientation of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) held at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Pavilion Convention Center in the City of Malolos on Monday, Feb. 17.

Governor Daniel Fernando, Vice Gov. Alex Castro, and Malolos City Mayor Christian Natividad were present during the event.

In her speech before hundreds of Department of Education officials, teachers, and DSWD employees from different places in Bulacan, Marcos thanked the two agencies for promoting "Tara, Basa!" Tutoring Program that aims to improve the students' reading skills and comprehension.
