P-pop acts BILIB & Zela ready to make splash at Waterbomb Manila Festival 2025

P-pop acts BILIB and Zela, along with other international artists, will dazzle fans at the Waterbomb Manila Festival, which will be held at the Quirino Grandstand from Feb. 22 to 23.
Members of the P-pop group BILIB - Yukito, Zio, JMAC, RC, Clyde, Carlo, and Rafael - said they were thrilled when it was announced they would be part of the festival.
"We couldn't believe it when we were told we were chosen to perform at the Waterbomb Festival. It has been our dream to perform on a bigger stage," said Yukito during an interview in Quezon City recently."We are both proud and humbled to participate in the show."
Asked what the Filipino fans could expect from them, some of the members said: "We will show our abs! Kidding aside, we will also perform our songs. Watch out for our surprises."
Another group member said the group is motivated to perform at the festival. "We will carry the Philippine flag during the show."
Filipino-American singer and songwriter Zela said she still couldn't believe she was part of the festival.
"I felt like I was still dreaming. But I feel honored to be performing in this much-awaited event in Manila in February because this is the first time happening in our country. I'm excited to see other artists from South Korea," she said.

BILIB and Zela, both AQ Prime artists, said they hope to collaborate with the South Korean artists in the festival.
On Saturday, Feb. 22, performers are Chanyeol (EXO), Lee Chaeyeon, B.I., Epik High, DynamicDuo, Kim Jong-kook, Baekho, Hwasa (Mamamoo), Kwon Eunbi, STAYC, Raiden, ZB&ATION, DJ Roots, J.E.B, Imlay, Apro, and Thea Astley.
On Sunday, Feb. 23, performers are Kang Daniel, Jessi, Siena Girls, Sunmi, Hyolyn, Insidecore, Gray, Bamam, Skull & Haha, Oh My Girl, Reddy, VIVIZ, Yang Se-chan, Sulreggae, U-Kwon (Block B), Aster & Neo, Mar Vista, 2Spade, Kenet, Bilib & Zela.
This is the first time the popular international music festival will be held in Manila.
Originating in 2015, the Waterbomb Festival in Seoul, also known as the Seoul Water Bomb Festival, is an exciting summer event that combines water-based activities, music, and entertainment.
'It is held annually in Seoul, Korea's capital city, and has gained popularity with hundreds of thousands of tourists and locals attending annually.
The festival is known for mixing various water sports such as water gun fights and swimming with a large scale EDM and pop music festival.
Organizers said that only water guns bought at the venue would be allowed. This ensures everyone's safety, as modified water guns may cause harm.
Since the festival features water, it is suggested that participants wear applicable and safe footwear such as aqua shoes or sandals. Summer Clothes and beachwear with a cover are ideal.
"Rest assured, we are fully committed to ensuring the maximum safety and the best experience for you. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities," organizers said on social media.
