Cop plunges to death in Leyte

TACLOBAN CITY – A 44-year-old police officer plunged to his death on Sunday, Feb. 16, in Barangay Camansi, Mayorga, Leyte.

A POLICE officer plunged to his death in Mayorga, Leyte on Sunday, Feb. 16.

Police identified victim as Elmer Villa, assigned to the Julita Municipal Police Station and a resident of Barangay Santo Nino, Julita, Leyte.

Villa was driving from Barangay Talisay to Barangay Camans in Mayorga when he lost control of his motorcycle and pllunged into an irrigation canal of the National Irrigation Administration

He was taken to the Abuyog District Hospital in Abuyog, Leyte where he was declared due to severe head injuries.
