BUTUAN CITY – Police seized shabu valued at P44.4 million and arrested two suspected drug pushers in buy-bust operation in Panabo City, Davao del Norte on Saturday, Feb. 15.

The suspects considered high-value individuals in the illegal drugs trade yielded 6.537 kilograms of suspected shabu, the boodle money, cellphone, and weighing scale.
They are under the custody of the Panabo City Police Station for proper disposition and face cases for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
PRO-11 Director Police Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Z. Rosete commended operating units for their achievement.
The arrest of the suspects sends a strong message to all drug peddlers that PRO-11 will not tolerate those who destroy lives for their own gain, he said.
“We will not waver in our fight against illegal drugs,” he said. “We will be relentless in our pursuit of those who threaten the safety and the future of the people in the community, especially in the Davao region.”
