No. 5 most wanted person in Muntinlupa arrested

Muntinlupa Police arrested a 32-year-old man listed as the No. 5 most wanted person on Valentine’s Day.

The suspect, identified as alias Rommel, was arrested by personnel from the Muntinlupa Police Warrant and Subpoena Unit in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Rommel is facing a homicide case and his warrant of arrest was issued by Presiding Judge Liezel Aquiatan of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 205 on Jan. 28.

Following his arrest, the suspect underwent medical and physical examinations at the Putatan Health Center in Muntinlupa before being transferred to the custodial and detention facility.

He is currently in detention, awaiting the issuance of a commitment order from the court.

Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena, director of the Southern Police District, commended the Muntinlupa Police for the arrest of the suspect.
