The Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation (NCAF) announced that the Aquino Center will open its museum honoring the lives of Ninoy, Cory, and Noynoy Aquino on Feb. 24, just a day before the country commemorates the 39th anniversary of the EDSA People Power.

The museum, located in the Aquinos’ hometown in San Miguel, Tarlac City, honors the legacy of Filipino martyr former senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., democracy icon former president Corazon Aquino, and their son, former president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
In a statement, the NCAF said the museum will welcome visitors from 1 p.m to 5:30 p.m.
In 2023, the museum underwent renovation to refurbish the section on the 1987 Constitution and expand the exhibit for Cory’s post-presidency years.
It also built a wing on the life and presidency of Noynoy, who died in 2021.
According to the NCAF, the photobook “PNoy: Filipino” will also be launched in the reopening of the museum.
The photobook takes Filipinos into “a closer look into the younger Aquino’s presidency through images taken by his close-in photographers.”
Ninoy and Cory played a crucial role in the country’s democracy, with the latter becoming president after the EDSA People Power revolution that toppled the Marcos dictatorship.
This year, rather than being declared a non-working holiday, the anniversary of the EDSA revolt will be a special working holiday as declared by Malacañang.
