Four people died and two others were injured when a fire hit a residential area in Pasay City early Saturday morning, Feb. 15.
According to Senior Fire Officer 1 Resmond Germino, chief public information officer of the Pasay City Fire Station, the fire broke out on the 3rd floor of one of the houses on Esteban St. in Barangay 177, Malibay, Pasay City.
Germino said the fatalities were two minors aged 4 and 7, and two adults aged 32 and 40.
The victims' remains were brought to funeral homes for identification of their relatives.

He said the injured persons were identified as Irish Regas, 58, who suffered minor burns on right hand, and Gabriel Misolas, 18, who sustained a laceration on his right foot. They were immediately given first aid treatment and were advised to seek medical attention in a hospital.
Fire officials said they are still conducting mopping operation to determine the cause of fire that razed 30 to 40 houses which were all made of light materials.
Germino said the fire was placed under control at around 7:23 a.m. and the estimated damage to property was placed at P1.2 million.
