Surigao del Sur's No. 1 most wanted arrested

CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police apprehended the No. 1 most wanted person in Surigao del Sur on Monday, Feb. 10.

Golgol, 33, was nabbed in Barangay Mararag, Marihatag, Surigao del Sur.

He was arrested on a warrant for robbery issued by the Lianga, Surigao del Sur Regional Trial Court Branch 28, dated Feb. 9, 2011.

Police also caught the No. 7 most wanted person in the Caraga region in Barobo, Surigao del Sur on Monday.

Police Regional Office 13-Regional Public Information Office chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer identified the suspect as Bon, 33, who faces a murder case with no bail recommended.

Bon’s warrant of arrest dated Aug. 22, 2014 was issued by the Lianga RTC Branch 28.

Surigao del Sur police chief Police Col. Harry B. Domingo said the suspects were taken to the Barobo Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

PRO-13 head Police Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano commended operating units for arresting the suspects.
