Distribution of 1st tranche of aid for 2025 under Malabon Ahon Blue Card begins

The Malabon City government has started the distribution of the first tranche of financial aid under the Malabon Ahon Blue Card (MABC) program for 2025 on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.

"Maligayang Araw ng mga Puso, Malabueños! Kasabay ng ating pagdiriwang ng buwan ng pag-ibig, ay nakakatuwa pong ibalita na atin na pong sisimulan ang pamamahagi ng ating unang ayuda para sa 2025! Ito po ay bahagi pa rin ng ating layuning mas mailapit ang tulong at serbisyo para sa ating mga kababayan. Sa panahong ito, nawa ay ating ipadama ang pagmamahal sa bawat isa. Sama-sama po tayo ano man ang panahon (Happy Valentine’s Day, Malabueños! According to the city's Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Office, 86,674 qualified MABC beneficiaries may withdraw their financial aid at any BancNet-powered ATM or Universal Storefront Services Corporation (USSC) branch nationwide.

The redemption period starts on Feb. 14 at 8 a.m. and ends on Feb. 28 at 11:59 p.m. Beneficiaries will receive a notification from USSC once their aid is available for withdrawal.

To assist the residents, MABC personnel will also post a link on their official Facebook page containing the list of qualified recipients.

The MEAL Office reminded Malabueños to safeguard their MABC cards and to promptly coordinate with USSC for concerns like PIN updates, and lost, or damaged cards.

Residents were also advised to keep their cards dry and free from physical damage to avoid issues when claiming their financial assistance.

Sandoval also announced the MABC Eskwela Savings Program for Grade 1 students, an initiative designed to help young learners develop a habit of saving. Each beneficiary will be given a savings account with an initial fund of P1,000 to support their future financial needs.

The program was introduced alongside MABC Para sa Kababaihan, which aims to empower solo parents in the city, during the Walang Tulugan Serbisyo Caravan 4.0 on Jan. 14.

City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete emphasized that this is the ninth round of aid distribution since the MABC program launched in 2022.

"Malabueños can rest assured that the city government, led by Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, will continue bringing programs and assistance closer to our people," he said.
