The Promy banked on a second quarter assault where they dropped an 18-4 blast to take a 50-30 upperhand -- a separation that later helped them overcome the Egis’ last-ditch effort in the payoff period.

Alvano took care of business and pumped in 21 points while hauling five rebounds and dishing out three assists, while Omari Spellman and Kang Sang-Jae added 18 and 17 points, respectively, for Promy, which improved their card to 17-21 at sixth.

Cady Lalanne scored 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Lee Ho-hyun added 18 points in a losing effort for Busan, which suffered their seventh consecutive loss for 15-24 at seventh.

The league takes a 12-day break defore it resumes with a double-header on Feb. 26.
