Woman busted with P2-M shabu after posting pot session online

ILOILO CITY – A woman who went viral online after posting a video of herself in a pot session was arrested with P2 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Estancia town, Iloilo province on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

The suspect Apple who yielded 290 grams of shabu and her two male companions were caught by the Iloilo Provincial Police Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (IPPO-PDEU).

Lawmen initiated the operation after residents complained about the woman’s illegal drug activities.

The unit led by Police Major Dadje Delima conducted a five-month surveillance operation to validate the information before the operation.

Intelligence reports said Apple was a major shabu distributor in northern Iloilo and parts of Capiz province. She was believed to source her drug supply from Iloilo City and Metro Manila.

The IPPO lauded the successful operation against Apple.

“We will not rest until the last drug dealer is brought to justice. The IPPO is committed to fighting the illegal drug trade. With the strong support of our beloved Ilonggos, we are determined to succeed in our mission to create safer communities for everyone,” said Police Col. Bayani Razalan, IPPO director.
