‘Win or Lose’ set for premiere on Disney+; 2 new clips released

With just one week before the first two episodes of Pixar Animation Studios’ “Win or Lose” premiere on Disney+, two new clips have been released.

Pixar’s first-ever original series features the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire.

In one clip titled “Meet Sweaty” from the first episode, it introduces Laurie (voice of Rosie Foss), a 12-year-old softball player whose insecurity manifests into an ever-growing anxiety blob called Sweaty (voice of Jo Firestone) that only she can see.

Clip “Cheating” in episode four stars bubbly mom Vanessa (voice of Rosa Salazar), whose daughter Rochelle (voice of Milan Elizabeth Ray)—a talented player on the team—is accused of cheating on a test at school. Vanessa insists it didn’t happen—or did it?

“Win or Lose” also features the voices of Will Forte, Josh Thomson, Dorien Watson, Izaac Wang, Chanel Stewart, Lil Rel Howery, Melissa Villaseñor, Flula Borg, Kyleigh Curran, Jaylin Fletcher, Erin Keif, Tom Law, Beck Nolan, Orion Tran and Rhea Seehorn.

It is directed and written by Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates, and produced by David Lally.

The series features music by composer Ramin Djawadi and original songs by Campfire and Djawadi.
