Drug suspect arrested in Taguig

A high-value drug suspect was arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on Feb. 11. 

The suspect, identified as alias Simeon, 54, a resident of Barangay Bagumbayan, was arrested in front of Aguahan 1 Village. 

During the sting operation, authorities seized four plastic sachets containing 52.5 grams of shabu valued at P357,000, a genuine P1,000 bill used as marked buy-bust money, and 12 pieces  P1,000 boodle money bills.

The suspect was taken into custody and was turned over to Taguig Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU). 

He will be charged for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
