AirAsia launches ₱1 sale for Valentine's season, offering 400,000 seats

While love is in the air, low-cost carrier AirAsia wants lovers in the air as it launches its first piso sale for 2025 just in time for Valentine’s season.

In a statement, AirAsia said travelers can book flights for as low as P1 one-way base fare from Feb. 15 to 23.

Up to 400,000 seats are up for grabs, with the travel period for flights booked under this promo starting July 1, 2025 to June 15, 2026.

AirAsia said the sale covers local and international destinations such as Narita (Tokyo), Osaka, Seoul, and Hong Kong.

The budget carrier said travelers who will book additional value packs, such as seats, baggage, insurance, and meals, will enjoy an additional 34 percent discount.

AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla said the airline’s ₱1 sale is an affirmation to their commitment of democratizing air travel.

“Inflation may have limited our spending power but it shouldn’t be a hindrance to fulfilling our aspirations—of making purposeful journeys with friends, loved ones and most especially yourself,” said Isla.

“This love month, there’s no greater way of showing affection by creating travel memories that truly lasts a lifetime,” he added.
