

Government anti-narcotics agents confiscated on Sunday night, Feb. 9, around P34 million worth of shabu following the arrest of four suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Caloocan City.
In a statement, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said the drug personalities with aliases “Al, Sammy, Amy and Ferds’’ were collared at around 10:50 p.m. at Block 3,Lot 38, Abel Street in Kingstown 2.
Aside from the five kilos of shabu concealed in “five yellow-gold foil packs” labeled ‘GUANYINWANG,’ the operatives also seized a vehicle, cellular phones, buy-bust money, and identification cards (ID).
The operation was carried out by the PDEA Regional Office National Capital Region, Northern Police District and the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency.
The suspects face charges for violation of Sections 5 (sale, trading distribution, delivery of dangerous drugs),11 (possession of dangerous drugs), Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165 .
