EXO’s Kai to hold live broadcast on Feb. 11 following military service discharge


K-pop boy band EXO member Kai will be holding his first live broadcast on Feb. 11 following his discharge from his military service.

Kai was discharged on Feb. 10 as a social service worker, an alternative form of military service,  

He enlisted at the Korea Army Training Center on May 11, 2023 and underwent basic military service before being deployed as a social service worker. He completed his service for 21 months. 

Kai will be holding the special live broadcast titled “Kai: Happily Ever After” on the EXO YouTube, TikTok, and Weverse channels at 8 p.m. KST on Feb. 11.

The live broadcast is his first time to communicate with fans after a long time. During the event, he will make a DIY gift for fans, talk and do a 2024 trendy dance challenge announcing his return. 

With Kai’s discharge, EXO member Sehun is the only remaining member who is fulfilling military service. Sehun will be discharged on Sept. 20 this year.
