CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A Pakistani restaurant owner and his compatriot were arrested for allegedly raping a 28-year-old restaurant employee in Olongapo City on Feb. 9.

The Police Regional Office-3 identified the suspects as Moon, 22, a tourist, and Elias, 34, restaurant owner.
The victim Sheng said she was raped by her Elias, her employer, and Moon at 8 a.m. at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
She sought police assistance after the incident and the suspects were arrested in a follow-up operation.
Police Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo, Police Regional Office-3 chief, condemned sexual violence and warned perpetrators that they face the full weight of the law.
"We will not allow sexual predators to walk free. The full force of the law will be used to ensure these criminals are punished. Let this serve as a clear warning – anyone who dares violate the rights and dignity of another person will face the consequences. The PNP stands firm in its commitment to protecting the vulnerable and delivering justice swiftly and decisively."
The suspects are in police custody and face cases for violating Republic Act 8353 (Anti-Rape Law).
