The Muntinlupa Police seized 500 grams of marijuana and arrested two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation on Feb. 11.
The operation was conducted by the Muntinlupa Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit at about 1:10 a.m. in Barangay Bayanan.
During the operation, the police arrested two suspects identified as alias Ralph and alias Jimuel, both 23.
They were caught in possession of dried marijuana leaves estimated to be worth P60,000.

Following their arrest, Ralph and Jimuel were taken to the SDEU office for further investigation. A criminal complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against them.
Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena Jr, district director of the Southern Police District, said, “The seizure of 500 grams of marijuana and the arrest of these suspects reflect our relentless fight against illegal drugs. We will continue working tirelessly to dismantle drug operations and bring offenders to justice. We call on the community to stay proactive in reporting illegal activities and supporting our mission for a safer Muntinlupa.”
