Streaking Creamline and Petro Gazz try to keep their momentum going when they battle separate rivals on Tuesday, Feb. 11, in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

The Cool Smashers seek to keep their record unscathed when they gun for their ninth straight victory in their 6:30 p.m. confrontation with the Farm Fresh Foxies, while the Angels aim for their seventh consecutive triumph in their 4 p.m. tussle with the Capital1 Solar Spikers.
Living up to their lofty billing as defending three-time All-Filipino champions, Creamline has been dominating the field with its impressive victories -- whether lopsided or hard-fought. In their last match last Thursday, Feb. 6, the Cool Smashers needed one hour and 22 minutes in sweeping the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, 25-17, 25-17, 25-21.
But there was no place for complacency as far as Creamline was concerned, especially that they are facing a team hungry to bounce back from a recent loss like Farm Fresh.
Toting a 4-5 card at joint eighth following their three-set loss to the PLDT High Speed Hitters, the Foxies are determined to get back on track to bolster their playoff drive.
Trisha Tubu is expected to regain her lost steam after being held to only nine points the last time, while help must come from Jolina Dela Cruz, Alyssa Bertolano and veteran Rachel Daquis.
Creamline, as usual, has Bea De Leon, Jema Galanza and Tots Carlos in front of its assault.
Meanwhile, Petro Gazz tries to keep itself close to Creamline with its 7-1 card, hoping to deliver the same firepower it showed the last time with Brooke Van Sickle, Myla Pablo and MJ Phillips leading its charge.
Capital1, for its part, hopes to end its five-game slump that put them at 1-8.
