Man killed, beheaded in Masbate

A man was beheaded and his body dumped on a road in Barangay MR Espinosa, Milagros, Masbate.

The victim was identified through a tattoo on his body as John Maynard Samoranos, alias Shao, of Barangay Buenavista, Uson, Masbate.

The body of the victim was discovered by residents passing by the isolated area on Thursday, Jan. 30.

The victim was wearing a maroon sweatshirt and gray jogging pants.

The victim’s body was taken to a funeral parlor in Milagros. His head is yet to be recovered.

The family of the victim is appealing for justice for Samoranos.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
