Korea's Hanteo Chart names best-selling albums in January

Hanteo Chart revealed the best-selling albums in South Korea for the month of January 2025. 

BSS, Seventeen’s subunit composed of DK, Hoshi, and Seungkwan, is No. 1 on the monthly chart. 

Their "Teleparty" topped Hanteo Chart’s Monthly Physical Album chart in January, achieving sales of 552,921 copies or equivalent of 697,324 points in physical record index (PRI). 

Hanteo Chart uses its proprietary physical record index, a combination of album sales and album price, to rank albums. 

New K-pop boy band KickFlip, which debuted under JYP Entertainment last Jan. 20, ranked second. Their debut album “Flip it, Kickit!” sold 278,669 copies or 326,464 points in PRI.

(G)I-DLE member Minnie’s solo debut album “HER” with 194,220 copies sold or a PRI of 242,775. 

Park Ji-hyeon’s “Ocean” grabbed fourth place with 252,151 copies in sales or equivalent of  230,961 points in PRI. 

K-pop boy band GOT7’s “Winter Heptagon” ranked fifth with 126,237 copies sold or a PRI of  176,732.
