The candidates of "Ginoo and Binibining Paranaque 2025" brought joy and happiness during their visit to 20 senior citizens living at Bahay Kalinga in Barangay La Huerta on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Paranaque City Tourism Officer Melquiades Alipo-on said the 32 candidates from the city’s 16 barangays prepared food and distributed essentials for the senior citizens at the center.

Mayor Eric Olivarez acknowledged their efforts and recognized their involvement in the community activity.

“We are beyond elated to witness how the candidates of the Ginoo and Binibining Paranaque 2025 involve themselves in activities that not only connect with communities but also uplift and support them by delivering essential services,” said Olivarez.

“This not only brings smiles to the faces of our elderly residing at Bahay Kalinga. It also serves as an inspiration and empowerment to our youth to participate in social activities that improve the social well-being of our fellow Paranaqueños,” he added.

The mayor thanked the candidates and expressed his support for the upcoming coronation night on February 8 to be held at Parqal Shopping Mall in Aseana City, Barangay Tambo.

Olivarez said the Ginoo and Binibining Paranaque is an annual pageant competition for the youth hosted by the city government as part of the celebration of the 27th Cityhood Anniversary on Feb. 13.

He said the winners will be the city’s official representatives in national pageants, namely in Ms. Universe Philippines and Mister Pilipinas Worldwide.
