Businessman shot dead in Nueva Ecija

A businessman was shot dead in Barangay Apo Esquivel, Jaen, Nueva Ecija on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Police said the victim Jerry, 52, of Cabanatuan City was on board an SUV when two men onboard a motorcycle appeared and shot the victim.

The suspects fled and the victim sustained multiple bullet wounds and taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Recovered from the crime scene processed by forensics investigators were .45 caliber shells.

Police have persons of interest in the killing.
