LUCENA CITY, Quezon – An artist is appealing for the return of his paintings that went missing 10 years ago.

Pepot Atienza offered a ₱10,000 reward to anyone who could bring them back. The paintings disappeared in a bus stop in Barangay Gulang-gulang here.
“I still have no clue where they are or who took them. I just hope they weren’t damaged or thrown away,” Atienza said.
He said that his search is deeply personal as these two paintings were created during the early days of his career as a full-time artist.
Atienza considered them among his best works and was supposed to submit them for an exhibit on the day they disappeared. "If you ever see these paintings in someone’s home or have any information, please let me know," Atienza said.
A native of Lucban, Quezon, Atienza is now an internationally recognized artist and frequently invited overseas to showcase his skills in animation, sculpture, and visual arts.
Atienza urged people with information on his paintings to contact him.
