Man stabs wife to death on Christmas Day – police

TABUK CITY, Kalinga – A man allegedly stabbed his wife to death in Barangay Agbannawag here on Christmas Day, police said.
Investigation said the suspect, Robert Sumalin, stabbed his wife, Janice Agpad-a, multiple times inside their home during a heated argument in front of their child.
Sumalin was allegedly drunk and jealous and threatened to hit his wife. The suspect fled and the subject of a manhunt operation.
Tabuk City Councilor Jayferson Bon-as condemned the crime.
No one has the right to take another person’s life, he said. He called on the suspect to surrender and face the case.
