Christmas Day stabbing suspects arrested in Muntinlupa

Police arrested two men accused of stabbing another man during a dispute over a loud motorcycle muffler in Muntinlupa on Dec. 25. 

The Muntinlupa police identified the suspects as alias Raymond, 26, and alias Jerome, 20. They were apprehended by responding officers from the Tunasan Police Substation after attacking the victim, identified as alias Jon Prix, 23. 

The incident happened in Barangay Tunasan in the early hours of Christmas Day. The victim, who sustained multiple stab wounds, was brought to the Ospital ng Muntinlupa. 

The two suspects in police custody and will face criminal charges. 

The use of open pipes and modified mufflers that produce loud noise is prohibited in Muntinlupa.

Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, director of the Southern Police District, said investigators are coordinating with courts regarding the standing warrants discovered during the processing of the suspects.
