4 injured as carnival ride malfunctions

CANDELARIA, Quezon – Four revelers, three of them minors, were injured after a carnival amusement ride experienced a mechanical failure on Christmas Day in Barangay Malabanban Norte here.
Police identified the victims as Trexy, a Grade 7 student; Thyron, Grade 3 pupil; Vince, a teenaged boy, and Artemio, 37, all residents of this town.
Police discovered the incident while conducting a cyber-patrol n social media.
Investigation said the ride called “Spider” suddenly experienced mechanical trouble and abruptly stopped.
The victims were in an improper position and sustained injuries. They were taken to the hospital and carnival management vowed to shoulder expenses.
Victims did not file complaints and police decided to drop the case.
