Driver killed in 3-vehicle crash in Zamboanga Sibugay

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A driver was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Ipil municipality, Zamboanga Sibugay province on Friday, Dec. 26.
The Ipil Municipal Police Station said an Isuzu Elf vehicle travelling from Zamboanga City towards Ipil encroached on the opposite lane and collided with a passenger bus bound for Zamboanga City.
The extreme impact turned the Isuzu Elf vehicle 180 degrees around. The driver died on the spot after he was pinned between the steering wheel and his seat.
A 36-year-old man driving a motorcycle collided into the rear of the passenger bus.
The victims were taken to the Dr. George T. Hofer Medical Center in Ipil.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
