KCFC Mixed 11 team bags bronze in Chonburi tiff

The Koronadal City Football Club Mixed 11 bagged the bronze medal in the Cup League Division of the Season 3 IFL 7s Battle of Asia Edition in Chonburi, Thailand last week.

The Koronadal City Football Club Mixed 11 bagged the bronze medal in the Cup League Division of the Season 3 IFL 7s Battle of Asia Edition in Chonburi, Thailand last week.

The team only dropped one game in the tournament, defeating Ateneo de Manila. Bangkok Soccer Academy, Pattaya Inter Football Club and Fuerza FC while losing to Ascot Football Academy.

But the team would not be denied a podium finish as they exacted their revenge against Ascot Football Academy in a dramatic penalty shootout to clinch the bronze medal.

Mentored by Ricardo Pusoc Jr., the team is composed of defenders Marco Jaime Lorico, Ranier Suganob, and Don Wilfredo Nambong II along with goalkeeper Sherwin Joaquin Escoton.

Also part of the crew are midfielder Chrisdom Pelaez, striker Daniel John Lao and wingers Xyryl Ythan Pinganon, Alvin Catbagan Jr., Alondra Brynn Miranda and Alliana Dane Fernandez Osano.
