The power of hyperlocal: RMN launches its unified network channel

The RMN Networks has a new home to showcase its hyperlocal storytelling creativity. Officially launched through a virtual event hosted by Camille Pereira of iFM Manila and Zhander Cayabyab of DZXL 558, the RMN Networks Channel is a web-based, interactive media launcher platform dedicated to the network’s premier creative broadcast programs, digital streaming–exclusive content, and marketing services for brands and advertising partners. It is a digital space where employees, audiences, and advertisers can experience everything RMN Networks has to offer—all in one place.

More than a broadcast technology upgrade, the channel represents the network’s continued commitment to what has always defined The RMN Networks: creating authentic connections with hyperlocal communities across the Philippines, a mission it has upheld for nearly 75 years.
The RMN Networks Chairman, Eric S. Canoy, explained, “The RMN Networks is once again charting a bold course forward, a path built not just on tradition but on transformation...In our continuing desire to strengthen our relevance in each community, kailangan natin mas mapalapit sa kanila. They must hear, see, and feel us, pero higit sa lahat, kailangan maramdaman nilang naiintindihan natin sila.”

This drive to connect is what inspires RMN Network’s constant digital transformation. The team knew that reaching a new generation of audiences and clients meant rethinking how the network presented itself, not just ON-AIR and ON-GROUND, but more importantly, ONLINE.

Behind the channel are The RMN Network’s three pillars in action. First, RMN Broadcast continues to be the network’s backbone, carrying decades of trusted radio programming to loyal listeners. Second, 360x Media, which engages advertisers and brand partners with integrated marketing campaign solutions that include ON-AIR advertising, ON-GROUND activations, ONLINE Social Engagements, and HYPERLOCAL research and insights.
Thirdly, the 360xStudios reaches new audiences with original and online streaming exclusive content, combined with repurposed legacy materials for both streaming and social platforms. Together, these pillars are woven into the channel, creating a hub for the entire RMN Network.

Exploring the channel is an experience in itself. Engagement starts with a 360-degree virtual reality portal that lets users travel back in time to the birthplace of the first RMN radio station, DXCC, in Cagayan de Oro City. This immersive walkthrough brings to life the RMN Network’s origin story, where every detail inside the station reveals compelling stories and facts about the network—especially its founder, Don Henry Canoy.

The Broadcasting page features an interactive map of the Philippines marked with location pins that highlight RMN’s nationwide reach. Each pin, when clicked, reveals detailed profiles and key programs of every RMN station, including relevant hyperlocal facts and even trivia of their area and its communities.
For advertising and media agencies, including brand partners, the 360X Media page offers an easy-to-navigate media planning dashboard where all of RMN Network’s 360X Media offerings are organized like an online catalog, covering research, broadcast, digital, and on-ground services for quick access.
The channel also features RMN Drama, one of the network’s legacy products, which to date still holds a loyal following, especially among local communities in Visayas and Mindanao, including Metro Manila. There are also digital audio stories via Serye FM, the network's partnership with Podcast Network Asia, where guests can listen directly from the site.
Last but not least is 360X Studios, showcasing the network’s creativity and hyperlocal storytelling produced exclusively for online streaming across the network's multiple digital and social media platforms.
