'Taxi Driver 3' tops favorite TV programs in December; No. 1 shows in 2025 revealed
Korean actor Lee Je-hoon’s “Taxi Driver 3” emerged as the No. 1 favorite broadcast video program in December in South Korea.
Polling firm Gallup Korea conducted a survey from Dec. 16 to 18 among 1,001 people aged 18 and above to know the top 10 broadcast video programs in South Korea for December.
Season 3 of “Taxi Driver,” which premiered on Nov. 21 on Korean TV network SBS, topped the favorite program in South Korea in December with 4.5 percent.
It was followed by MBN’s "I Am a Natural Person" with 3.1 percent (second place), and drama “Our Golden Days” with 2.9 percent (third place).
Netflix’s “The Price of Confession,” starring Jeon Do-yeon, Kim Go-eun, Park Hae-soo, and Jin Seon-kyu, placed fourth with 2.4 percent.
The MBC variety show “I Live Alone” is in fifth place with 2 percent, followed by the dating program “I Am Solo” by ENA and SBS Plus at 1.8 percent, and the tvN variety show “You Quiz on the Block” with 1.7 percent.
Tied for eighth place with 1.4 percent are KBS2’s “2 Days & 1 Night” season 4, JTBC’s “The Dream Life of Mr. Kim,” SBS’ “Running Man” and Netflix’s “Culinary Class Wars” season 2.

Gallup Korea announced that there were 45 programs that placed in the top 10 from January to December this year.
The total consisted of 31 dramas, 11 entertainment programs, two current affairs and educational programs, and an animated film.
By broadcast platform, 19 were terrestrial programs (KBS, MBC, SBS, EBS) 17 non-terrestrial programs (tvN, JTBC and others), and nine OTT programs.
The programs that ranked No. 1 monthly in 2025 in South Korea:
