QCPD investigates fatal shooting at Commonwealth car dealership

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is investigating a shooting incident that claimed the lives of two security guards inside a car dealership along Commonwealth Avenue in Barangay North Fairview on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 24.

According to the QCPD, the incident occurred at around 2:10 p.m. inside the dealership’s Commonwealth branch.

In a statement, the QCPD extended its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the suspect.

Police investigators are currently gathering all relevant facts, reviewing available closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, collecting physical evidence at the scene, and interviewing witnesses to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The QCPD said all necessary measures are being undertaken to resolve the case promptly and ensure that justice is served.

Further details will be released as the investigation continues.
The two security guards were killed during the shooting.
