Man convicted of illegal drugs possession arrested in Taguig
Police arrested a man who was convicted by a court for possession of illegal drugs in Taguig on Dec. 23.
The District Special Operations Unit of the Southern Police District served a warrant of arrest against alias Wolfrando in Barangay Upper Bicutan, Taguig.
Wolfrando, 42, construction worker, and a resident of the barangay, was listed as the No. 9 most wanted person of the Taguig police for December.
He was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest for service of sentence for violation of Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) under Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The warrant of arrest was issued for a criminal case on Oct. 29 by Acting Presiding Judge Jonathan Honorato Lock of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 267.
He was brought to the SPD for documentation.
